Welcome to Castello Saalbach

Our après-ski bar and nightclub opened its doors in December 1970 and was the first ever club in Saalbach. Even in the early days the venue was so popular that anyone wanting to get in had to book a table and order a bottle of wine at least a day in advance. Those lucky enough to get a reservation danced the night away to the best live music from around the world.

By the end of the eighties the DJ replaced live music and Castello was regularly transformed for theme parties with wild eighties style decorations. With these parties the club’s popularity grew so much that a second bar had to be built.

In the mid nineties it was time for Castello’s next dramatic change. Live bands and DJs combined forces creating the best atmosphere in town. Castello has established a reputation for it’s wide range of music. In the afternoon the crowds dance to the top Austrian après-ski hits and in the evening international club sounds set the mood.

The furniture and design of the club remain unchanged since the 1970′s which just adds to Castello’s cult status. Every night locals and holidaymakers from around the world flock to Castello giving it a true international flavour.
